Acupuncture

Care that begins by paying attention.

Meet Marcie

Meet Marcie, your acupuncturist.

Marcie brings acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine, shiatsu bodywork, private yoga and practical lifestyle support into one personal practice.

Her work is grounded in nearly 20 years of acupuncture practice and more than 30 years of yoga practice and study.

That range means you do not have to arrive knowing which modality belongs on the calendar. Begin with what you want support with. Marcie can recommend a sensible starting point and explain what to expect.

“You don’t need to know which service to choose before you reach out.”

Client reflections

In their own words.

These are personal experiences shared by Howell Healing clients. Each person’s care and response to treatment is individual.

I have been visiting Marcie for acupuncture for approaching a decade and highly recommend her. Along with regular acupuncture treatment, her customized treatments, as needed, have helped me with sciatica, foot bone and various muscle pains over the years. I strongly suggest if you are considering acupuncture to try Marcie.

Charles M.

Marcie took the time to listen to what was bothering me and tailored the treatment specifically to what I needed. The combination of massage and acupuncture was incredibly relaxing and effective, and I could really feel the difference afterward.

Her space is comfortable and welcoming, and she has a calming way about her that immediately puts you at ease. I’ll definitely be back!

Adrian B.

I took Marcie’s yoga class twice a week for five years when I lived in Austin. She is an amazing yoga teacher. She would always go at a perfect pace and explain what certain poses were good for, including hip openers and digestion. She also helped me with acupuncture sessions when I explained to her my knee issues from an old injury. Additionally, she is very knowledgeable in herbal remedies, nutrition, philosophy and spirituality.

Marcie is very well rounded to help you in the field of health and well-being, and I highly recommend her. She really listens and truly cares for you.

Although I am generally very fearful of needles, Marcie’s calm, competent, and gentle ways brought me relief from my ongoing pain.
